Well, all the family is gone. I'm sad. Daniel's mom has been here since last Wednesday and she left today. It was great having her here; she was a huge help with Addalie. She would stay up with her at night if I needed some sleep and then help out around the house during the day. This afternoon was my first time to really be alone for any amount of time with Addalie. We did pretty good, but I'll miss having people around to help!

Healthy Girl!

Well Addalie went to her first check up yesterday and the doctor said she was healthy and everything looked good.  She weighed 7 lbs 3 ounces (she was 7 lbs 2 ounces at birth) and was 20 1/2 inches long, her head size was 14 inches.  We are very grateful for a happy healthy little girl.  Here are some pictures of Addalie over the last couple of days.  

I think after a week and a half of getting her picture taken Addalie is getting used to the flash and maybe even starting to like it!

This was Addalie's first time in the bath tub, and as you can tell it was not her favorite place to be in that moment.  It almost killed her momma to put her through such torture. She did smell good afterwards though!  

She is spending a lot more time awake these days, she likes to sit on the couch and look outside.  

She is really a good baby and we are having so much fun with her! 

A lot of Girls!

We have had so much fun with Mom, Kyla, Jada, Ava, & Emry this week. Addalie got to meet her cousins and I think they enjoyed her. Ava called Emry "the big baby" and Addalie "the little one." Addalie is so lucky to have two cousins within 6 months of age. (Emry and Kyla's baby due in August.)

Sorry we missed a day,  Addalie has been busy enjoying her Aunts Jada and Kyla and her cousins Ava and Emry.  Addalie slept through most of the night last night, the best night we have had so far with her.  She hasn't been doing too much yet but we have loved every minute with her.  Here are some pictures of Addalie over the last day.  

It was hot in the house today, so Addalie just needed to let loose a little bit.

Well so far we have been pretty good about keeping the blog updated, but we can't guarantee that this will be the trend in the weeks to come.  It has been wonderful having my parents here to help out with everything. I have so enjoyed this time with Addalie and would be happy to have her as my only responsibility for good! Here are a few more pictures from yesterday and today.
